Test fixtures

The GRAS 45CA is a versatile test fixture for measuring sound isolation of hearing-protectors according to ISO 4869-3 and ear- and headphones according to IEC60318-1 or 60318-4. For testing hearing-protectors according to ANSI/ASA S12.42, choose GRAS 45CB.

45CC with TEDS is a flexible and configurable platform for dual-channel testing of headphones and headsets. It has multiple configuration options: microphones, IEC 60318-1 and IEC 60318-4 ear simulators, anthropometric pinnae and optional ITU-T P.51 mouth simulator. It can be adjusted very precisely to support different headphone/headset designs and sizes for high accuracy and repeatability. It is well suited for Research and Development, Production Engineering, Quality Control and Production Line testing.

The GRAS 45EB Ear-bud Positioning System is made for the GRAS 45BB & 45BC Head and torso simulator. The system is designed for positioning and holding ear-buds or ear-borne devices in the concha of the pinna simulator.

The GRAS 45CB Acoustic Test Fixture is specified and designed for measuring sound isolation of hearing-protectors and ear- and headphones according to the ANSI/ASA S12.42 standard. For testing in accordance with the ISO 4869-3 standard, choose GRAS 45CA. The GRAS 45CB test fixture can also be used as a measurement platform for the Defence Standard 23-015 (Land System Certification Part 03: Noise) from UK's Ministry of Defence. The GRAS 45AA Telephone Test Head is a tailor-made fixture for testing the acoustic performance of telephone handsets in accordance with international standards and recommendations. The design of the GRAS 45AA combines precision with a robust construction to ensure stability and reproducible test results with a minimum of acoustic interference.

GRAS AL0030-1, GRAS AL0030-2 and GRAS AL0030-3 are acoustical test chambers for production line testing of mobile devices such as cell phones, tablets, Bluetooth® speakers, etc.
